The Constitution says, "All men are created equal." Does that include women too?

The Nineteenth Amendment was passed in 1920 granting women the right to vote. This was a huge step towards equality for women. Some say there is more to accomplish in the 21st century, however. Title IX, women in military combat, and equal pay are just some examples of issues about which people are still concerned.

In 2004, women were paid 76 cents for every dollar men received. That is $24 less to spend on groceries, housing, childcare and other expenses for every $100 worth of work women do.

In the Army, women cannot serve in the following: infantry, armor, cannon field artillery, and short range air defense artillery.
